Feel the wilderness in your café!

In 1996, the doors were opened to a small coffee shop that served home-baked cakes and rolls. Eva Carlsson and Stig Eriksson wanted to do something for the countryside. Vildmarkscafeét became more and more popular and vacationers from as far away as Germany started visiting the little cafe. We developed our small coffee shop into a lunch restaurant that is today visited by vacationers from various parts of Sweden and Europe. The idea for Vildmarkscafeét came from the Vildmarksleden, which passes directly outside the doors. We wanted to attract people from the stressful big city to sit down and enjoy a good lunch or coffee in the quiet nature. In 2013, Eva Carlsson won the award: Blekinge's best "Kroppkakor".
